Dr. Benjamin Fryer

DR. BENJAMIN FRYER
HBa. (Kin), DC, ART®, CSCS, D.Ac, CCSS(C) resident

Dr. Fryer attended the University of Western Ontario where he completed a four year Honours degree majoring in Kinesiology, with a special interest in Anatomy and Biomechanics.  He continued on his educational path and graduated from the four year program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  Throughout his training, Dr. Fryer earned full certification in the soft tissue technique ART® (Active Release Techniques) and is a certified provider.  He also achieved certifications in CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and Medical Acupuncture from the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program.  Currently he is pursuing his post-graduate studies in sports sciences through the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada) (CCSS(C)).

Dr. Fryer has been involved in many sports in the past and has more recently had the opportunity to work with a variety of athletes.  He has experience treating acute/traumatic as well as chronic/reoccurring injuries.  He is currently the Team Doctor for the Junior A Oakville Blades of the OHA and has been since the 2006 season.

Dr. Jennifer Smeaton 

DR.  JENNIFER SMEATON
HBA (Kin), DC, ART®, Graston Technique®, NCCP level 1 Skating Coach

Dr. Jennifer Smeaton is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology.  She then went on to complete four years of study at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

Throughout her training, Dr. Smeaton earned certifications in Active Release Technique ® and Graston Technique ®.  She is also a Skate Canada, level one certified coach and enjoys coaching with the Oakville and Milton Skating Clubs. 

Dr. Smeaton has been involved in sports her whole life.  She competed at the Junior level in Figure Skating and while at Western, she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Rugby Team and was the captain of the Varsity Figure skating team for 3 of her 4 years as a member.  In her 4th year at Western she received the esteemed purple blanket award for athletic distinction while representing Western.

Dr. Jeff Weekes

DR.JEFF WEEKES                                                                                                
HBa. (Kin), DC, CSCS, ART® , Graston Technique®

Dr. Weekes holds a bachelors degree in Honors Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, where he was a member of the Varsity Rugby Team.  He then went on to complete four years of study at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During his training Dr. Weekes earned certifications in Graston Technique® and Active Release Technique®.

Sport and exercise have been a large part of Dr. Weekes' life for many years.  He is certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

DR. MICHAEL G. FUNG MD                                                       
 
MBChB, CCFP, ABFM, CAQ Sports Medicine, Dip Sport Med

Dr. Michael Fung is a graduate of the University of Dundee (Scotland, UK) medical school. He completed his family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University at Buffalo (UB). During his training, he served as an assistant team physician to the UB Bulls (NCAA, Division 1) athletic teams and Canisius College Golden Griffiths hockey team (NCAA, Division 1).

He has covered the major Buffalo marathons (JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge, Turkey Trot). Licensed on both sides of the border, he holds the US Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine and the Diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine.  Additionally, he is double board certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Fung is a full member of the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine.

DAWN ROBINSON RMT
Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Athletic Therapist

Dawn is a graduate of Kikkawa College and the Sheridan Institute of Advanced learning.  Additionally, she has completed many courses; Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy, First Responder, Scapular Training, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacal and Stott Pilates.  She is working towards a Viscual Manipulation Certification and continued Stott Pilates courses.

Dawn is currently the Head Therapist for the Oakville Crusader Rugby Club, SIx Nations Jr. A Lacrosse Team, Oakville Blades Jr. A Hockey Club and The Toronto Nationals AAA Bantam Hockey Club.  She has also worked previously with the Milton Jr. A Hockey Club, Humber College men's volleyball and women's soccer, National Ballet of Canada, Rugby Canada and the Ontario Rugby Union.   She has worked in several sport injury clinics including Humber College, McMaster University, SMS Toronto and Sheridan College.  For 1.5 years, she was Sheridan College's Assistant Clinical Director for the Sheridan Athletic Therapy Teaching Clinic.

Her therapy  focuses on "finding and treating the cause" using myofascial release, visceval manipulation and structural intergration.

Cameron McArthur D.Ch.
Chiropodist
 

Cameron has been licensed and practicing as a registered Chiropodist since 1987.  After several years of general practice Cameron joined the teaching staff at Toronto General Hospital as a clinical instructor, and taught courses in sports medicine and orthotic design and manufacturing.  This was followed by 13 years at a rehabilitation hospital where he specialized in high risk patient management, diabetic care and tissue trauma management.  Cameron now brings his skills and experience to the patients at Dynamic Health and Performance.
