DR. MICHAEL G. FUNG

Dr. Michael Fung is a graduate of the University of Dundee (Scotland, UK) medical school. He completed his family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at the University at Buffalo (UB). During his training, he served as an assistant team physician to the UB Bulls (NCAA, Division 1) athletic teams and Canisius College Golden Griffiths hockey team (NCAA, Division 1). He has covered the major Buffalo marathons (JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge, Turkey Trot). Licensed on both sides of the border, he holds the US Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine and the Diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine.  Additionally, he is double board certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the American Board of Family Medicine.  Dr. Fung is a full member of the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine.
