1. Physiotherapy Position

We are a multidisciplinary health care clinic in Oakville that provides collaborative care. Patient care and continued communication between professionals is of utmost importance to us. We strive for excellence within our role in health care as manual therapists and aim for faster recovery and optimal function.

We are looking to add a physiotherapist to our team of healthcare professionals. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, as well as have the drive to achieve standards.

Responsibilities

Physiotherapy Services (Excellence) ~85%
• Lead the daily implementation of a patients treatment process that is focused on pro-active monitoring and management;
• Provide high level daily training environment physiotherapy services to targeted sports and athletes; 
• Work closely with coaches and support staff to ensure competition preparation, training plans, peaking and recovery methods are optimized;
• Develop close working relationships with coaches and athletes to ensure a seamless injury prevention and management philosophy and pathway;
• Maintaining therapy supplies and equipment;
• Creating and implementing emergency action plans (EAP) at training and competition sites;
• Build strong relationships with sport medicine practitioners referring, consulting and discussing as required; 
• Apply first aid as needed when present at practice and/or competitions; 

Administrative & Professional Development ~15% 
• Maintain up to date and accurate electronic medical records as per Practice Standards outlined by CPA
• Attend, contribute to and provide regular reports at appropriate meetings
• Maintain a rigorous approach to professional development

Education
• Registered Physiotherapist with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists in good standing
• Member with OPA
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate or Medical First Responder

Compensation
• Competitive Hourly Pay

Experience and Knowledge/Skills

Essential
• Excellent soft tissue and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of collaboration.
• Strong independent initiative towards building one practice
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Good team building skills and the ability to be flexible and adjust to changing priorities.

Preferred
• Certification in Active Release Technique (or working towards)
• Experience in working sideline as medical support for team events
• Acupuncture (or working towards)

2. Massage Therapy Position


We are a multidisciplinary health care clinic in Oakville that provides collaborative care. Patient care and continued communication between professionals is of utmost importance to us. We strive for excellence within our role in health care as manual therapists and aim for faster recovery and optimal function.


We are looking to add a Registered Massage Therapist to our team of healthcare professionals. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, as well as have the drive to achieve standards. Must have strong independent initiative towards building their practice and be able to provide patients with effective treatment plans.

We will provide you all of the necessary supplies and equipment you may require and a full-time administrative staff to book and confirm your appointments. We have a great team environment and very competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Massage Therapist
• In good standing with the CMTO
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility is an asset
