About Compass Touches

Compass Touches are an effective exercise designed to build strength and may assist with injury rehabilitation.


Compass touches are a great way to strengthen your lower body, glutes and improve your balance.

Written Instructions

  1. Standing on one leg with your hips back and your knee overtop of your foot, use the other leg to hit 5 points on the "compass" picture targeting 12 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock, and 6 o'clock.
  2. Remember to keep your hips back and your core squeezed to keep your back nice and flat.
  3. Complete this exercise on both legs.
  4. To increase intensity, put a band around your knees to target the glutes even more!
