About Hip Dips
Hip Dips are an effective exercise to strengthen, stretch and improve your hip muscles.
This exercise helps improve the strength of your lateral hip musculature.
- This can be completed on the bottom stair at home. Stand on the step with one foot hanging off of the edge.
- Keep both legs straight as you lower your hanging foot towards the ground.
- Proceed to raise the hanging foot by elevating the hip – you will notice that your hips are tilting up and down.
- Engage your core while completing this exercise to help keep the hips facing forwards with no rotation.
