About the Dumbbell Deadlift
The Dumbbell Deadlift is an effective exercise targeting the lower body and is designed to build hamstring & glutes strength, extend your hips and strengthen the core.
The Dumbbell Deadlift targets and strengthens your hamstrings & glutes while improving your hinge pattern.
- Hold one dumbbell in each hand and begin by standing straight.
- Drive both hips backwards and allow your arms to slide down approximately one inch away from your thighs.
- Once you feel tension in the hamstrings (above knee level), squeeze your butt and drive your hips forward to return to a standing position.
