About Figure 8s
Skates not required! These Figure 8s use a kettlebell and is an excellent exercise for athletes and individuals who play football, softball and volleyball.
Figure 8s help increase shoulder stability and is very effective in strengthening the rotator cuff to assist with a strong "throwing" movement.
- Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor.
- Hold a weight in one hand that is comfortable for you.
- From your shoulder, slowly move the weight in a “figure 8” pattern.
- Ensure your arm stays straight the entire time.
