Daniel is backing up to showcase these Reverse Monster Walks that is an effective exercise for individuals who are having issues due to poor activation or weakness of the glutes. Poor activation can lead to a number of ailments in many different body parts including knees, hips and even the back.
Monster Walks strengthen the lower body, improve hip extension and assist with general lower body endurance.
- Place a band around your knees and start in a hinged position
- While holding the hinged position, begin taking a step backward on a 45-degree angle
- Repeat with the other leg
- This should create a zig-zag pattern moving backwards.
