About the Bear Crawl

The Bear Crawl is a bodyweight mobility exercise that uses strength in the shoulders, quads and abdominal muscles.


The Bear Crawl is an excellent all-in-one exercise that works all the major muscle groups in unison, providing a strong core challenge.

Written Instructions

  1. Begin in a quadruped position with your hands underneath your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
  2. Lift your knees off of the ground and slowly move forward by walking the opposite leg and arm.
  3. Keep your core engaged to reduce any lateral shifting, rotating, arching or rounding in the back.
  4. Repeat
